Ann B. Cook

Died,

Of consumption, after a painful illness of several months, on the morning of the 4th inst, at the residence of Col. Henry H. Cook, in this City, Mrs. Ann B. relect of the late F. S. Cook, aged 37 years. She has left six children to mourn their irreparable loss.

The deceased was a lady of highly cultivated mind—amiable in all the relations of private life and greatly esteemed by those who knew her, and in her death our society has sustained a loss which it will be difficult to repair.

She had been for many years a member of the Baptist Church; and it is grateful to her friends to remember that in her last moments, the cheering influence of the christian religion, shed a softening light over the otherwise rugged scenes of the death bed.

A FRIEND.
