Tribute of Respect. At a meeting of the Oxanna Council held on 2nd inst., the following inscription to the memory of an old good man
A just and upright man and a good citizen. His life was full of honest endeavor and kindly deeds. He was the first settler of our town and its oldest inhabitant, and in commemoration of his name and a tribute to his worth this page of the council proceedings is dedicated. |
