Mr. Jno. P. Gore, of the Western part of this county, who met with a serious accident at his gin some days ago, died Monday last. The hurt was a serious but not necessarily fatal one. Fever set in, however, and he died from the combined effect of his injury and the disease. Mr. Gore was one of the early settlers of the county and was a man of great energy and push. In the course of a busy life he accumulated a neat property. He leaves a wife and children.
