Died, Miss Lou Mattison, daughter of Mr. J. L. Mattison, in Jacksonville, Tuesday, the 19th day of July, 1887, after a long and painful illness.

She was universally beloved in Jacksonville and her death has cast a shadow of sadness over the entire community.
