On Thursday night, the 2nd inst., at the residence of Mrs. Ida Williams, at 11 o'clock, Mr. H. G. Nixon, of Montgomery, of consumption.

Mr. Nixon was the efficient clerk of Maj. Wyly, and was visiting Jacksonville for his health, and intended leaving for Ashville, N. The sympathies of Republican are extended the bereaved relatives and friends.
