The death of Mr. W. S. Pou at his home in Autaugaville on Thursday of last week cast a gloom of sadness over the whole county. Mr. Pou was one of Autauga's most prominent and most beloved citizens. He was 54 years of age at his death. He was sick about 8 months and the immediate casue of his death was Brights disease.

The remains were interred on last Friday with Masonic honors. In the death of Mr. Pou The Progress feels that the entire county has sustained a great loss.
