Monday the sad intelligence was received by telegraph that Mrs. Dean, of Ashville, mother of the Messrs. Dean, of the firm of Rowan, Dean & Co., of this place, had suddenly died. The three sons left for Ashville the same day the sad news of their bereavement reached them, carrying with them the heartfelt sympathy of our entire community.
