It was with the deepest sorrow that we learned through one of our correspondents last week of the death of Mrs. George W. Humphries, a most estimable Christian woman, and the devoted wife of one of the oldest, most prominent and most universally respected citizens of this county. The warm sympathy of many hearts all over Calhoun will go out to our old friend in this hour of his distress and bereavement.
