Gen. H. C. Wayne
 

Gen. H. C. Wayne died in Savannah last week. He was a guaduate of West Point, served with gallantry in the Mexican war, and was Governor Brown's Adjutant General during the late war. He was a true patriot, brave officer, cultivated gentleman and highly esteemed.
