designates the spot where lie
the mortal remains of
John Winn Esq
who was born at
Black River S.C. Decr. 4th
1779,
and died in Sunbury L.C.
Geo. August 19th 1820.
His learning, piety and integrity,
qualified him for stations of high
importance: many of which he filled
with honour to himself and benefit
to the Public.
Peace to his memory.
