J. P. H. Garrett

The many friends of J. P. H. Garrett, so long connected with the Savannah, Skidaway and Seaboard Railroad Company, will regret to learn of his death, which took place at Richmond, Va., Thursday, 8th inst., after a protracted illness of nearly two years. Mr. Garrett was engineer on the road for several years, and afterwards, for some time, was Assistant Superintendent. He was a faithful employe and clever man, well esteemed by all who knew him.
