Mr. A. V. Cavedo
 

The death of Mr. A. V. Cavedo, well known to our mercantile community and travelers South, was announced yesterday morning. Mr. Cavedo had for many years been purser on the City Point and the St. John's and had extensive acquaintance with shippers and travelers, who will regret to hear of his death. He was a native of Florida, about thirty-two years of age, and leaves a wife (daughter of Mr. E. H. Hernandez) and one child. His funeral took place yesterday evening from the Cathedral.
