R. G. McAfee died at his home six miles west of Zebulon, at eight o'clock Friday evening, aged 81 years. He was taken with a bad cold shortly after Christmas, which settled upon his lungs and old age prevented his recovery. He leaves a wife and six children, as well as two children by his first wife.
