Mrs. C. H. Osborn This community was shocked on Sunday afternoon by the news of the death of Mrs. C. H. Osborn, which occurred at ten minutes before five o'clock in the afternoon. The death was from consumption, after an illness of six weeks, though she had always had a weak constitution. Mrs. Osborn was born Sept. 9th, 1828, in East Minger, Conn, and moved with her family to Decatur, Ga., when twelve years old. She was married on Nov. 28th, 1847, to Mr. C. H. Osborn, and has always been a most loving wife and exemplary woman. She was a devout and consistent member of the Presbyterian church, and the funeral was held at the church yesterday afternoon at 2 1/2 o'clock. General sympathy is extended to the bereaved husband and relatives. |
