Mrs. D. P. Ellis

Mrs. D. P. Ellis, one of the most amiable woman in Georgia died a few weeks ago in Atlanta. The writer knew her intimately since 1839 and feels no hesitancy in saying that a more devoted wife, affectionate mother or accomplished lady was ever born or died in the State than she.

The Madisonian, Madison, Georgia, 24 March 1883, page 3, column 1.
