Mrs. M. A. Green Death again invaded our community Tuesday night, and claimed as its victim Mrs. M. A. Green, a most estimable and christian lady. She was nearly sixty-six years of age, had been a consistent member of the Methodist church for thirty-six years. Her last illness lasted her for several weeks and she was all the time perfectly resigned to death, often spoke of it and her hope of heaven beyond the grave. She was perfectly conscious up to her last moments and died as she had lived the death of a christian. We, in behalf of the people of this community tender Mrs. Anna T. West our heartfelt sympathy in this hour of her sad bereavement. An appropriate and impressive funeral ceremony was conducted at the Methodist church on Friday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. B. E. L. Timmons.
