Mrs. Robert D. Bogart nee Georgia Cornwell

We regret to have to announce this morning the death of Mrs. Georgia Bogart, wife of our well-known fellow-citizen, Mr. Robert D. Bogart, which occurred at noon yesterday at the residence of her husband. Mrs. Bogart was the youngest daughter of Mr. George Cornwell, of this city, and had but a short time since reached her twenty-eighth year. United six or seven years ago to one who was in every way worthy of her, her married life was full of happiness. More than a year ago her health began to give way, caused, it was soon ascertained by an attack of the fatal malady known as "Bright's disease." Rapidly she grew worse, and for the last six months has been a confirmed invalid.

Two months ago she was taken to New York city, where she was placed under the treatment of one of the most skillful and distinguished physicians in the metropolis. But all that loving hands or the best of medical skill could do proved unavailing to stay the ravages of that dread disease. About a month since she was brought home to die, and yesterday death came to the relief of her sufferings.

Mrs. Bogart was an affectionate daughter and devoted wife. The many friends of herself and her family, her husband and her esteemed father-in-law, Mr. William D. Bogart, will long lament her loss. To the bereaved ones we tender our heartfelt sympathies in their deep affliction.
